The confirmation came through a statement released on the social media platform X, where the JFA revealed that medical examinations detected the severity of the injury, which makes Sabra unavailable for the tournament that kicks off next week in North America. This setback is a harsh blow for head coach Jamal Al-Salami, who sees his offensive capability significantly reduced.
