Arsenal Set to Launch Formal Bid for VfB Stuttgart's Rising Star Finn Jeltsch Amidst Fierce Competition
Arsenal are reportedly preparing a decisive move to secure the signature of VfB Stuttgart’s highly-rated centre-back Finn Jeltsch, as top European clubs including Manchester United and Bayern Munich closely monitor the 20-year-old defender’s future. According to Fussballdaten.de, the Gunners are poised to make a concrete approach for Jeltsch, who has rapidly established himself as one of the Bundesliga’s most promising defensive talents.
The German club is valuing Jeltsch at around €50 million, a price tag that interested parties must meet to initiate formal negotiations. Under contract with Stuttgart until 2030, the young centre-back has attracted attention not only from Arsenal, United, and Bayern but also from Liverpool and Juventus, all reportedly keeping him on their radar.
Jeltsch himself addressed the swirling transfer speculation regarding Bayern Munich last month, stating to Stuttgarter Nachrichten: “I’ve read that too. But it’s not something I’m really thinking about. My full focus is on the upcoming season with VfB. I have an ideal environment here and can play Champions League football.” His commitment to Stuttgart reflects a player grounded in his current role, despite the interest from some of Europe’s elite clubs.
The defender’s performances have significantly boosted his standing as one of the Bundesliga’s standout emerging centre-backs, combining youthful potential with mature defensive skills. With multiple high-profile teams vying for his signature, any transfer proposal will need to meet Stuttgart’s valuation to start serious discussions.
This developing transfer saga places Arsenal at the forefront of what promises to be a fiercely contested battle for one of Germany’s brightest defensive prospects, signaling the club’s intent to bolster their backline with a player capable of making an immediate impact.
