Mamadou Sangare completes medical and set to join Brentford on five-year deal

Mamadou Sangare has passed his medical examination and is poised to join Brentford from French side Lens, signaling a significant boost for the Premier League outfit ahead of the new season. The talented midfielder is set to ink a five-year contract with the Bees, which includes an option to extend his stay until 2032, underscoring Brentford’s long-term vision for their squad.

Importantly, Sangare’s signing is not viewed as a direct replacement for Jordan Henderson, whose future at the club remains uncertain. Brentford’s strategy appears to be proactive, aiming to secure high-calibre midfield talent regardless of Henderson’s status. This move highlights the club’s ambition to strengthen their midfield options with promising young players like Sangare.

With the medical complete, Brentford are expected to finalize the transfer imminently, making Sangare one of their marquee acquisitions this summer. His arrival is poised to inject fresh energy and dynamism into the Bees’ midfield, as they prepare to compete at the highest level in the upcoming campaign.
