Real Madrid open to selling Vinicius Jr to seal Michael Olise’s signing

Michael Olise is reportedly pushing hard for a blockbuster move to Real Madrid, igniting a transfer saga that could redefine the Spanish giants’ attacking lineup. The French winger, currently a pivotal figure for Bayern Munich, has taken matters into his own hands, informing his teammates of his intention to join Los Blancos — a move that has sent shockwaves through the European football landscape.

According to L’Equipe, Real Madrid are preparing an official bid for Olise following the conclusion of the ongoing FIFA World Cup. The club views the 22-year-old as a dream signing, but his arrival hinges on a seismic development: the potential departure of Vinicius Jr. Negotiations over a contract extension between Madrid and their Brazilian star have stalled, with the two parties at odds over salary demands. The latest offer from the club reportedly falls significantly short of Vinicius’s expectations, with a gap in the region of €6 million to €10 million.

Madrid president Florentino Perez now faces a defining decision. While both the club and Vinicius are eager to continue their partnership, financial disagreements threaten to force a split. Should the impasse remain unresolved in the coming weeks, Madrid are open to selling the winger rather than risk losing him on a free transfer next year. This scenario would pave the way for Olise’s arrival, but at the cost of losing one of their most electrifying talents — a player who excelled at the World Cup and remains a fan favorite at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Olise’s determination to join Real Madrid is described as “obsessive,” with the Frenchman reportedly willing to fight until the end to secure the switch. The transfer, however, is not merely a matter of desire; it is inextricably linked to the fate of Vinicius Jr. Only the Brazilian’s exit would create the financial and tactical space needed for Olise’s integration — a move that would see one wing weakened to bolster the other.

The situation sets the stage for one of the most dramatic transfer decisions of the summer. Perez’s choice will not only shape Real Madrid’s immediate future but could also send shockwaves across the European football hierarchy. With one superstar’s Real Madrid career hanging in the balance and another talent waiting in the wings, the upcoming weeks promise high-stakes drama at the heart of the footballing world.
