Gonçalo Ramos, forward for Milan, expressed his determination and enthusiasm in representing one of the world's greatest clubs during an interview with the club's official channels. The Portuguese international, who left Paris Saint-Germain for €74 million, highlighted his emotional connection with Milan, revealing that it was his father's favorite club. “For me, it was clear from the first moment that I wanted to be here and be part of this club and this project,” he stated.

The player praised coach Ruben Amorim, stating that they share a similar vision of football. “The coach and I think about football in the same way. It's good to feel that he trusts me. It makes me want to play, to be here, and to help the team. It's one of the most important things,” Ramos emphasized. This positive relationship with the coach appears to be a crucial motivating factor for the forward, who is eager to start the season.

Ramos did not hesitate to share his perspective on the importance of mentality in achieving success. “You can have a lot of talent, but if you don't have the right mentality, you won't reach the top. If you have the right mentality and a bit of talent, you'll be closer to the highest level,” he said, acknowledging the pressure that comes with his new position. “If I'm not strong mentally, I can easily crumble. I try to work on that. If I'm mentally well, everything will go well. I trust myself, and in the end, it's good to prepare myself this way.”

Reflecting on his journey, Gonçalo Ramos mentioned the difficult decision he made at the age of 12 when he left the Algarve to live at Benfica's academy. “I had the dream of playing for Benfica's first team and for the national team. I achieved that. Then I went to PSG, won the UEFA Champions League, played for one of the best clubs in the world. Now I’m here, at another one of the best teams in the world. It has been a beautiful journey,” he said, reflecting on his football career.

The forward described himself as an instinctive and intelligent player with a clear goal: “I want to win. I want to win many trophies, as many as possible, and, if possible, score many goals.” At the end of the interview, he addressed the Milan fans: “Hello rossoneri fans. I am very happy to be here. I can’t wait to show you my talent and to feel your support.” Expectations are high for Gonçalo Ramos as the new season approaches, and the player is clearly ready to make his mark.
