Alejandro Balde has emphatically shut down any speculation of a summer exit from Barcelona, declaring his unwavering commitment to the LaLiga champions. The 22-year-old left-back, who featured prominently under Hansi Flick last season, played 42 matches across all competitions and contributed three assists, firmly establishing himself as a key component of the squad.

Despite reports suggesting that Barcelona might consider selling Balde to generate essential transfer funds, the young defender made it clear in a statement to Sport that leaving Camp Nou is not on his agenda. “I am not leaving. Barca is my home,” Balde asserted. He emphasized his long-standing connection with the club, revealing, “I've been in this club for 16 years, all my life. I want to succeed here, my mind is here. What I think about is continuing for many more years.”

Balde's declaration decisively dismisses any doubts about his future amid the club’s financial maneuvering. His determination to remain at Barcelona signals a strong message of loyalty and ambition, reinforcing his role as a homegrown talent intent on contributing to the club’s ongoing success.
