The times are desperate for West Ham, who have seen their Premier League survival threatened after a series of ten games without a win. Following a heartbreaking 2-1 home defeat to Nottingham Forest, the team was booed off the pitch, intensifying the pressure on a club that has not experienced the Second Division since the 2011-12 season. With 17 games remaining, the situation is critical, with the Hammers seven points adrift of safety.

Despite the growing pressure, Nuno maintained a resilient stance, stating: “It’s not over yet. We need to keep believing and stay united.” He highlighted the importance of facing the ups and downs of football and acknowledged the frustration of the fans: “We understand the frustration and sadness of the supporters – we are all in this together.” The coach also gave Argentine forward Valentín ‘Taty’ Castellanos his debut and brought in Brazilian Pablo Felipe for the match, hoping to turn the team’s fortunes around.
