Raphinha has renewed his contract with Barcelona until 2030. The forward, who has scored 15 goals in 10 LaLiga games, marked the new deal at a ceremony attended by his wife, Natália Belloli, who did not hide her emotion.
Natália Belloli shared her joy on social media, writing: “Only God knows everything we have lived through and faced to get here. Seeing you achieve this dream and write another chapter of your story at a club you love so much fills my heart with pride and happiness.” The Brazilian influencer also expressed her gratitude for Raphinha’s determination, saying: “Thank you for never giving up, for believing in our dreams and, above all, for always fighting for us.”
From Vitória de Guimarães to Barcelona
Raphinha, who was born in Avaí, began his football career in Portugal, where he played for Vitória de Guimarães B before moving up to the first team in 2016. In 2018, he moved to Sporting and, after spells at Rennes and Leeds, joined Barcelona in 2022.
His time in the Catalan capital has not been free of challenges, especially in the summer of 2024, when the club tried to sell him to Saudi Arabia because of financial difficulties. Raphinha kept his faith, stood firm and is now the team’s captain.
What the new deal means
The new contract is a personal milestone and a victory for Barcelona, who will have one of their most influential players until 2030. The decision to keep the forward could be important for the club’s ambitions, as they seek to establish themselves among the best in Europe.
Barcelona are preparing to face new challenges next season, with captain Raphinha, supported by his family, ready to continue writing his career on the pitch.
