Michael Olise’s future at Bayern is in doubt following interest from Liverpool.

Michael Olise, star of Bayern Munich and sensation of the last World Cup, is leaving Bavarian fans on edge with his future uncertain. Despite his outstanding performances for the German club and the French national team, there is growing conviction that the young winger may turn his back on the Bavarian giant, fueling dreams of a transfer to a European powerhouse like Liverpool or Real Madrid.

The issue at hand is the current contract of Olise, which still ties him to Bayern until 2029, but whose status is beginning to worry the club's management. German journalist Christian Falk raised the alarm in a recent analysis of the situation, emphasizing that, despite the contractual margin, there are clear signs of unease. The 24-year-old Frenchman has consecutive titles in the Bundesliga and has already added the DFB-Pokal to his accolades, but his name is once again being linked to top clubs in England and Spain, with Liverpool working behind the scenes and Real Madrid emerging as the player's preferred destination.

The importance of this case for Bayern Munich is undeniable. Olise is currently one of the most influential players in the squad, as evidenced by the numbers: 32 games, 15 goals, and 19 assists just in the Bundesliga, along with 5 goals and 6 assists in 13 Champions League matches. At the World Cup, although he did not score, he was the king of assists, with 5 decisive passes in 4 games, contributing to France's success. Losing a talent of this magnitude, especially to a European rival, would be a severe blow to the club's ambitions to remain in the elite and compete for continental supremacy.

Falk, writing in his column for CF Bayern Insider, does not hide his concern: “The situation with Michael Olise is becoming a bit dangerous for Bayern Munich,” the journalist warns, explaining that “there are rumors surrounding the Frenchman, where people in his circle claim that he knows he can always win the championship with Bayern, but he has already done that, and he has also won the DFB-Pokal.” Falk further adds: “The Champions League, on the other hand, is perhaps a bit more difficult to win at Bayern. There are rumors that he would like to transfer elsewhere and that Real Madrid is the club he dreams of.” According to the journalist, “Olise doesn’t talk much, so you never know if the rumors are true. However, those who are talking say they are very close to him. This could be a problem for Bayern, because everyone knows that unhappy players do not perform at the highest level. I don’t see the French international signing a new contract with Bayern in the near future.”

This scenario paves the way for a potential exit, although Bayern currently maintains control thanks to the long contractual agreement. However, as Falk warns, “if in a year he continues to show no signs of wanting to commit to the club, his market value may start to decline,” which could force the Germans to consider a sale before they see the player lose value.

For Liverpool, the potential availability of Olise represents a golden opportunity. The English club is looking for a strong reinforcement for the wings, especially considering the eventual succession of Mohamed Salah, and Olise's profile fits perfectly with what the Reds are seeking: youth, explosiveness, creativity, and statistics that demonstrate his influence in top-level games. On the other hand, Real Madrid, always attentive to emerging talents, could get ahead if the player expresses a preference for Spanish football.

The coming months will be crucial: Bayern will have to handle the internal situation delicately, trying to convince Olise to stay and renew, while Liverpool and Real Madrid should intensify their monitoring and contacts. If the Frenchman maintains his ambition to explore new challenges and does not yield to the pressure to renew, all signs indicate that he could become the big bombshell of the upcoming transfer market, with direct consequences on the balance of power in European football. Michael Olise's future is wide open — and promises to shake up the football summer.
