Rudi, on one hand, has his football experience and, on the other, many years of work within the federation – something I wouldn’t have any experience in if I became the national coach. I have never played for the national team nor have I ever coached it,” Klopp explained, thus reinforcing the need for institutional support in the event of a transition.
