Anthony Gordon, the young winger for Newcastle United, is at the center of attention in the football world, as transfer rumors involving prestigious clubs like Liverpool, Arsenal, and Manchester United continue to emerge. However, the England international is determined not to be swayed by these speculations and remains focused on his performance on the pitch.

With an impressive season already tallying 14 goals and four assists in all competitions, Gordon has shown that he is one of the most promising talents in the Premier League, which has naturally attracted the interest of the major powers in English football. The possibility of a transfer valuing the player at around £95 million has been discussed, especially if Newcastle fails to secure qualification for the Champions League, which could lead to a significant movement in the summer transfer market.

In statements to Goal, Gordon addressed the ongoing speculation about his future and downplayed the information circulating in the media. “It’s always the same story. I haven’t heard anything, maybe they want to inform me before telling you (the media). I’ve been through so many transfer situations that I know it’s all a big lie,” the player stated. “I’m focused on myself and the team, on the present. If we look too much to the future, we start to underperform. And believe me, I’ve been through that before, and I don’t want to repeat the mistake.”

Newcastle fans will surely be relieved to know that Gordon is not distracted by transfer rumors, and they hope the club can keep this rising talent. Gordon’s importance to the team is undeniable, and his contribution to the attack has been crucial this season.

Furthermore, if Newcastle decides to sell Gordon, it will be a challenging task to find someone who can match what he offers. At just 24 years old, the player still has plenty of room for growth, and therefore, his value could increase even more over time. Arsenal and Liverpool are keeping an eye on Gordon, as both need reinforcement in their attacking line. Arsenal, for instance, could see Gordon as an excellent alternative to Leandro Trossard, who is aging, and an improvement over Gabriel Martinelli, who has been inconsistent.

On the other hand, Liverpool could also benefit from a player like Gordon, especially with the possibility of Mohamed Salah’s departure, who is beginning to show signs of wear and whose future decisions remain uncertain. Anthony Gordon’s future looks promising, but for now, he has only one goal in mind: to stay focused on Newcastle and contribute to his team’s success.
