Luca Koleosho Secures Permanent Move to Paris FC Following Loan Spell from Burnley

Italy international winger Luca Koleosho has officially completed his transfer from Burnley to Paris FC, cementing his place in the French side after an impressive loan stint. The 21-year-old attacker, who will turn 22 this September, had attracted strong interest from Fiorentina, but ultimately chose to remain with Paris FC, where he had already showcased his talents.

Koleosho’s journey through the football ranks has been notably diverse. Having developed in the Espanyol youth academy, he made a significant career move last summer when Burnley acquired him for €3 million. His initial impact at Paris FC, during the final six months of the previous season on loan, convinced the club to make the transfer permanent. Last season, Koleosho featured in 18 matches for Paris FC, delivering three goals and one assist, a performance that underscored his attacking potential in Ligue 2.

Despite Fiorentina’s ambitions to provide Koleosho with his first Serie A experience, Paris FC’s existing relationship with the player proved decisive. The French club’s strategy to bolster their squad with Italian talent is further highlighted by their recent signings of defender Diego Coppola from Brighton & Hove Albion and veteran striker Ciro Immobile.

On the international stage, Koleosho has firmly committed to Italy, earning two senior caps in June 2026, despite also holding Nigerian, Canadian, and American citizenships. His versatility and international experience add significant value to Paris FC’s ambitions this season.

Koleosho’s transfer marks a pivotal moment for both player and club, reinforcing Paris FC’s intent to compete at a higher level with a squad enriched by international talent. The permanent switch from Burnley signals a new chapter for the young winger as he looks to build on his promising displays in French football.
