In an electrifying clash in Serie A, Milan drew 1-1 with Como in a match that will surely leave a mark in the memories of the fans. Rafael Leão, with a touch of magic, rescued the Milanese team after a crucial error from goalkeeper Mike Maignan, who did not have his best performance. This duel, which was originally scheduled for February 8, was rescheduled due to the use of the San Siro for the opening ceremony of the Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics, resulting in a frustrating negotiation that led to the match being played just 10 days later.

In the context of this game, Milan faced challenges with the absence of Adrien Rabiot, who was suspended, and Santiago Gimenez, who was injured. Additionally, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic were not at full fitness. On the other hand, Rafael Leão and Ardon Jashari were reintegrated into the starting lineup, offering hope to the fans. Como, who had already surprised by eliminating Napoli from the Coppa Italia, came off a goalless draw against Atalanta and a home defeat to Fiorentina. Meanwhile, the Como team made some changes, including the use of Nico Paz as a false nine.

The first half saw a moment of frustration for Milan when Mergim Vojvoda found the net, but the goal was disallowed due to offside. The first real opportunity came from the feet of Rafael Leão, who tested goalkeeper Jean Butez with a shot from a tight angle. However, what followed was a true nightmare for Maignan. The goalkeeper, attempting to play out from the back, failed to notice the presence of Nico Paz, who intercepted his pass and scored into an empty net, putting Como ahead.

Milan did not hesitate to seek an equalizer. Butez had to work hard to save a powerful header from Fikayo Tomori, while at the other end, Maignan prevented a goal from Jacobo Ramon, who was poised to score from a direct free kick. The first half ended tense, with Strahinja Pavlovic leaving the pitch due to injury, and Nico Paz receiving a yellow card that will see him miss the next clash against Juventus.

In the second half, while Como sought to extend their lead, Milan responded with a touch of class. A long ball from Ardon Jashari found Rafael Leão, who, with impressive calmness, let the ball bounce before executing a precise lob from 25 meters, leveling the score and reviving the fans at the San Siro.

The Milan pressure nearly resulted in an instant turnaround, but Youssouf Fofana failed to direct his header on target. Rafael Leão also came close to scoring again, seeing his header hit the crossbar, although he was in an offside position. The game became increasingly intense, with Max Allegri being sent off after a disagreement with the Como coaching staff.

This draw leaves Milan reflecting on what could have been, while Como celebrates a result that, although not a victory, represents admirable resistance against one of the giants of Italian football. With their sights set on the next challenge, the Milan team needs to recover and prepare for what promises to be a significant clash against Juventus.
