The Liverpool manager, Arne Slot, is preparing for a true battle at the iconic Anfield, where his team will face Burnley this Saturday. There is still a lot to play for in the league; we know how important it is for this club to qualify for the Champions League. We are also aware that the league is stronger than ever, and that is what we have to do well in the league, in addition to the FA Cup and the Champions League, to fight for titles.”

Regarding the criticism of Liverpool’s playing style during this unbeaten streak, many analysts argue that the team has sacrificed flair for pragmatism. Slot defends himself: “In the last 11 games, we have practically not conceded chances, but in the previous period, we created many opportunities and conceded more. Those were more open games, where perhaps people want that now, but the results were not what we desired.” He concluded: “We have to find that balance and we will find it. The players are growing, gaining confidence, and becoming fitter. We are waiting for the moment when we can push our season even further.”
