The businessman revealed that Varandas’ initial list suggested the dates of March 4 or 5, but due to already established campaign commitments, he proposed the 12th, after the visit to the Bodo/Glimt ground for the Champions League. “Criticizing the great concern over the president’s fatigue, which seems to be the new theme of this campaign, Bruno Sá stated: ‘That the current president does not want to campaign is his choice. But he cannot expect to prevent others from doing so. He cannot expect that, having only decided to debate last week, everyone cancels their plans to accommodate his wishes.’”

He reaffirmed his presence in the debate, emphasizing that he ran to combat pressure tactics and imposed silences that, according to him, have characterized the current management. “I know that the current president would prefer to go to elections alone, but I do not take orders of that kind that they tried to give me.
