propagated far beyond the Douro. A childhood dream that I still cannot describe today.

Rodrigo Mora, now a player for Roma, took to social media to emotionally bid farewell to FC Porto, where he spent a decade. The 19-year-old recalled his arrival at the club at the age of 9 and how that experience shaped not only his career as a player but also his personal development. “FC Porto shaped my DNA, instilled values in me, and filled me with memories. I will carry all of this with me for the rest of my life!” Mora expressed, highlighting the importance of the club in his life.

The player made a point of recalling significant moments, such as his debut for the B team at the age of 15, under the guidance of António Folha, and the long-awaited debut for the first team at 17. “I realized one of my biggest dreams: to debut for the first team of FC Porto at just 17 years old,” he stated, emphasizing the relevance of these stages in his career. Mora also underscored that, beyond the titles and achievements, the true privilege was the love and support from the fans, who always motivated him.

“You are the soul of FC Porto! It is your spirit that makes us authentic and your passion that makes us understand the responsibility of wearing blue and white,” Mora said, thanking the fans for their unwavering support. He recalled with emotion the celebration of winning the national championship, which he celebrated with the fans on Avenida dos Aliados, a moment he considers one of the most significant of his career.

In his farewell, Mora did not hide the difficulty in finding words to describe what the club means to him. “It is really hard to find words that explain everything this club represents for me,” he admitted, revealing that he leaves the Dragão “with a full heart.” The young talent, who has already completed his first training session with Roma, concluded his message with a profound reflection: “FC Porto was part of my childhood and my adolescence. And it will forever be part of my life. I will follow my own path, but there are things that will never change.”

Mora's departure from FC Porto marks the end of a significant chapter in his career, but it also opens doors to new challenges in the Italian league. His journey is a testament to the impact the club has had on his life, and fans will surely miss him as they follow his path with Roma.
