Brooks Koepka, the renowned golfer known for his tenacity and skill, is currently navigating a challenging phase in his career as he makes a much-anticipated comeback to the PGA Tour. With the Farmers Insurance Open marking the official restart of his competitive journey on January 29, 2026, expectations were high. Yet, the results were disappointing; he finished tied for 56th with a score of 4 under par. His subsequent appearance at the WM Phoenix Open saw him miss the cut entirely, raising questions about his performance and resilience.

Amidst this turbulent time, one unwavering supporter remains by his side: his wife, Jena Sims Koepka. Her love and encouragement shine through, particularly in a heartfelt social media gesture that caught the eyes of fans and followers alike. On Valentine's Day, the official Cognizant Classic Instagram account shared a playful post that read, “You’ve Koepka-d my heart.” Jena, not missing a beat, re-shared the message on her Instagram story, adding her own touching note: “My love for you is one for the Brooks.” The post was accompanied by Nat King Cole’s romantic classic ‘Love’, further emphasizing the deep affection she has for her husband during these tough times.

As Brooks gears up for the upcoming Cognizant Classic, set to take place at PGA National on February 26, he has his sights set not only on this tournament but also on the Players Championship (March 12-15) and the Valspar Championship beginning March 19. Currently, Koepka's season scoring average stands at 71.3 strokes per round, placing him 39th in the tour rankings with an impressive average drive of 314.1 yards. However, his return to the tour has not come without significant hurdles; he faced a staggering $5 million fine under the Returning Member Program, and must compete in at least 15 PGA Tour events this season to maintain his status. Furthermore, he’s barred from receiving sponsor invitations for the lucrative Signature Events, adding to the pressure as he fights to reclaim his position.

While Jena Sims has been a pillar of strength for Brooks on the golf course, she is also helping him step into a new arena: acting. The golfer has secured a role in the Netflix original sequel, Happy Gilmore 2, and Jena has been instrumental in his preparation. “He [Brooks Koepka] felt like he was stepping into my world,” she confessed, revealing her role in guiding him through the intricacies of script-reading and performance. “It was cool watching him step out of his comfort zone because that rarely happens,” she added, illustrating the supportive dynamic of their relationship.

Navigating the demands of a film set was a stark contrast to the etiquette of the golf world that Jena is accustomed to. “I try to blend into the background or even not even be seen at golf tournaments. This was the complete opposite. I had to literally jump up and down and scream,” she explained, demonstrating her commitment to her husband's success, both on and off the fairways.

In his cinematic debut, Koepka shares the screen with golfing legends such as Rory McIlroy, Bryson DeChambeau, Scottie Scheffler, and John Daly, marking a new chapter in his illustrious career. As Brooks battles through the challenges of his return to professional golf, the unwavering support from Jena Sims serves as a reminder that love and partnership can be just as important as skill and determination in the pursuit of success.
