Miguel Oliveira, the fearless Portuguese rider known as ‘Falcão’, once again shone brightly on the stage of the World Superbikes, securing another podium in Portimão. This Sunday, Oliveira clinched 3rd place in the second race of the second round of the championship, repeating the impressive performance he had already demonstrated in the previous race and in the morning Superpole. The Algarve International Circuit was the setting where the talented BMW rider made his mark, solidifying his position among the best in the world.

With a remarkable performance, Miguel Oliveira achieved the third step of the podium for the second consecutive time this weekend, having already secured the same result in the first race. Following these displays, ‘Falcão’ now occupies 4th place in the World Superbikes riders’ standings, accumulating 56 points. He is just four points behind Italian Axel Bassani, who sits in 3rd place, and 12 points behind Spanish rider Iker Lecuona, who stood out by securing 2nd place in today’s race.

The championship is led by the Italian Nicòlo Bulega, who continues to show a devastating performance, accumulating an impressive 124 points, nearly double that of the second-placed competitor. Oliveira’s consistency and determination are reflected in his performance, which promises to intensify the competition in the upcoming races.

The next round of the Superbike World Championship is scheduled for the weekend of April 17 to 19, at the iconic TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands.
