I definitely earned that time off by managing to get into the top 50, which was a nice bonus,” Fowler said, revealing his desire to build on that positive form.

Fowler’s experience at Pebble Beach has not been the best. In five previous appearances, he has not achieved a single top-20 finish, even missing the cut on two occasions. “I love being here, especially when we have weather like this. It would be great if the weather on Sunday stays like this or isn’t as bad as it can be,” he said, reflecting on the beauty of the location and his passion for the game.

Fowler, a six-time winner on the PGA Tour, continues to struggle to establish himself at the top, but his journey at Pebble Beach this year reveals the ups and downs that characterize the sport.
