Regarding this, Rocchi was categorical: “I have always been clear about how the VAR system is managed; there are no promises to be made when one is already acting transparently.”
The suspicions also point to manipulation in referee appointments, with a preference for referees aligned with Inter over Daniele Doveri in important matches during the final stretch of last season. This scenario raises serious doubts about the integrity of officiating in one of the most prestigious leagues in the world.
