During the first 20 minutes of the match, Bayern Munich struggled to overcome the solid defense of Werder Bremen. However, the tension of the game was broken when Lennart Karl, showing skill and determination, managed to evade several opposing defenders and was brought down by Senne Lynen in the area. After a VAR review, the decision was clear: a penalty in favor of Bayern. Harry Kane, the English star, did not waste the opportunity and converted calmly, putting Bayern ahead.

But Kane did not stop there. Just a few minutes later, the striker shone again. After a mistake in the ball restart by Bremen, Luis Díaz found Kane at the edge of the area, who, with time and space, did what he does best: a precise shot that found the back of the net, hitting the post before going in. With this, Bayern extended their lead to 2-0, leaving the Bremen team lamenting the missed chance at the start of the match.

The home team started strong and almost took the lead just six minutes in when Cameron Puertas made a low cross, but Felix Agu was unable to finish. This miss would prove to be a crucial turning point. Bremen, however, did not let themselves be disheartened and continued to press in the second half. Jonas Urbig, who came on at halftime, had to show all his potential by saving a powerful shot from Marco Grüll, which struck the post. Bremen’s pressure was real, and Urbig had to make several interventions to keep Bayern’s lead intact.

At the 70-minute mark, Alphonso Davies, who had just come on, made a clever play by passing the ball to Leon Goretzka. The midfielder, with a well-placed shot, increased the lead to 3-0, practically securing the three points for the team coached by Vincent Kompany. Bayern was in great form and in total control of the match.

In the final minutes, Jamal Musiala had a clear chance to add to the tally, but once again, Mio Backhaus, the Bremen goalkeeper, made an impressive save, preventing the fourth goal.

With this victory, Bayern Munich now has 57 points, maintaining a comfortable six-point lead over Borussia Dortmund, who had reduced the gap to three points after their win against Mainz. On the other hand, Werder Bremen remains in 15th place, tied on points with Wolfsburg, but behind on goal difference.

Bayern’s next challenge will be at home against Eintracht Frankfurt next Saturday, while Bremen will face a crucial clash against St. Pauli next Sunday in the fight for survival in the Bundesliga.
