Marcus Rashford, one of the most prominent players of Manchester United, is not interested in leaving the club to join Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia. The revelation was made by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who clarified the situation of the English winger, who is currently on holiday following his participation in the 2026 World Cup.

Rashford, who is preparing to return to Manchester United for pre-season, will have a crucial role in the team that aims to compete for the Premier League title and participate in the Champions League next season. The Red Devils' manager, Michael Carrick, is eager to reintegrate the player into the squad. However, the club's co-owners, INEOS, intend to sell Rashford before the close of the summer transfer window, although the player is reluctant to sever ties permanently with Manchester United.

Romano, on his YouTube channel, stated: “In the last 24 hours, many rumors have emerged on social media about Al-Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo's team, trying to sign Marcus Rashford from Manchester United. Let me clarify one thing. Rashford will not leave Manchester United this summer if offers from countries like this arise.” The Italian journalist emphasized that Rashford would only consider a move if a top club in Europe made a substantial proposal.

The winger's future now depends on an agreement between Manchester United and any interested club, as the release clause is no longer valid. “The idea, as far as I know, is that Rashford will only leave for top clubs in Europe or he will stay at Manchester United,” Romano added. Thus, the situation remains open, but there is a strong indication that the player prefers to stay at Old Trafford unless an irresistible offer comes from an elite European club.

This scenario leaves Manchester United fans hopeful of keeping one of their best players, while the possibility of a transfer to Al-Nassr seems increasingly unlikely. Rashford's response to speculation about his departure is clear: his focus is on continuing his career at the English club or only considering a challenge at a major European club.
