Journalist Alfredo Pedullà revealed on his YouTube channel that Inter has Pio Esposito firmly included in their future plans. Pedullà explained: “There’s a lot of talk about Pio Esposito’s renewal. There are also discussions about English clubs that courted him, but that’s already in the past, dating back to January 2025.” The journalist also added: “When I spoke to you about a situation involving Manchester United and Leicester, it was at that time, before he stayed at Inter.” Pedullà emphasized the interest in the forward by stating: “Pio was watched in every game at Spezia by United. Napoli also considered him last summer. They were ready to present incredible figures for the transfer and salary.”
The Italian journalist noted that Esposito is expected to sign a five-year contract with a salary between 3.5 and 4 million euros per season, plus four million in fixed components and performance bonuses. These conditions clearly demonstrate Inter’s commitment to the young forward, at least for now ruling out the possibility of a move to Manchester.
