Recently, Kulusevski was seen at the Swedish national team’s training ground, where he continued his rehabilitation. However, his appearance raised alarm among fans, as he was photographed limping, raising new doubts about his physical condition.
To dispel those concerns, Kulusevski quickly clarified the situation through social media. “Just to clarify things. I’m limping because I had a small procedure on my knee two weeks ago. I went to the doctor and removed what shouldn’t have been there. The knee is great now. Thank you for all the support,” the player wrote in an Instagram post.
In a recent conversation with Viaplay, Kulusevski expressed renewed optimism, stating that he “has never felt better.” With the Swedish national team set to face Poland next week in a crucial qualifying match for the World Cup, the player is determined to be part of Graham Potter’s squad. “I am now very confident that my injury problems are behind me,” Kulusevski said, adding that he is convinced he will return as an even better player for Tottenham and Sweden.
“I understand that people were worried [about my limp], but it was really for the wrong reasons. It was very positive that I had that little procedure and that we were able to identify the problem. Now everything should be fine. It’s just a matter of gradually and safely getting back. I see the light at the end of the tunnel. I feel better now,” the player revealed, conveying confidence and hope.
“I am really optimistic about the World Cup in two or three months. That’s how this book and this chapter will end. I’m convinced of that… I’m very confident about where I am today,” Kulusevski concluded, leaving Tottenham and Sweden fans buzzing with anticipation to see him back on the field and shining once again.
