Rickie Fowler is back – and in full force! After a 2025 season marked by injuries and disappointing results, the American golfer seems to have finally found the formula to rise back to the top of the world of golf. His impressive start at the Truist Championship, with a second round of 63 strokes that placed him among the top ten, is clear evidence that Fowler is on his way to regaining his best form.

The skilled player, who failed to qualify for the Masters at the beginning of the season, recorded two top-10 finishes in recent competitions: T8 at the RBC Heritage and T9 at the Cadillac Championship. These results not only earned him valuable points in the FedEx Cup but also propelled him up the world rankings, from the 86th position he finished in 2025 to his current 53rd.

But the big question lingering is: Will Rickie Fowler contend for victories again? The six-time PGA Tour winner appears confident. In statements made after the second round of the Truist Championship, Fowler admitted he is very close to returning to his peak: “There’s a lot of good things happening. The body feels better than it did last year, and the game is in a good place. I’m building confidence and momentum.”

The secret, according to him, has been patience and simplicity: “I tried to stay calm and not complicate things. I didn’t want to force perfect shots, just play as if I were practicing at the driving range. It seems easy, but it’s not. Often we want to do too much, instead of playing naturally.”

Fowler’s difficulties in 2025 were primarily caused by physical problems. The golfer revealed that his pain in the left shoulder, an issue he has been dealing with since his teenage years, worsened during the year, limiting his performance: “The pain never went away, it just got worse. I tried to manage it as best as I could, but only after a period of rest and some ACP injections – a variation of PRP – was I finally able to relieve the inflammation.” This treatment, carried out in September, allowed him to recover physically and return to intense training in the fall.

Now, with his health restored and confidence high, Rickie Fowler is determined to make a difference in the upcoming season. His return promises to shake up the world of golf and put Fowler’s name back among the title contenders. The Truist Championship could just be the beginning of a new era for this talented golfer. The season is heating up and Fowler is ready to shine!
