Juventus is crafting an ambitious plan to secure the signing of Joshua Zirkzee, attempting to replicate the model that allowed Barcelona to acquire Marcus Rashford. The Turin team is also monitoring two alternative options from Chelsea in case the negotiation for the Dutch forward does not materialize.
In recent days, Juventus has been quite active in the transfer market, having already confirmed the arrivals of Randal Kolo Muani and Kerim Alajbegovic to Italy, where both are ready to finalize the paperwork for their transfers to the Old Lady. With these additions, the team has now made four signings in this transfer window, joining Jeff Ekhator and Zeki Celik. However, Luciano Spalletti, Juventus' coach, does not intend to stop here. Following the departure of Dusan Vlahovic, whose contract has ended, and with Lois Openda set to join Lyon on loan, Spalletti is looking for one more forward.
The coach is particularly interested in adding a tall and robust striker to his squad, and Zirkzee, at 1.93 meters, stands out as a viable option. The forward, who is not expected to have a significant role at Manchester United under Michael Carrick, has already been linked with a return to Serie A in January. Recent reports suggest that Manchester United may demand a fee between 35 and 40 million euros to release Zirkzee this summer. However, Juventus hopes to secure a loan with a non-mandatory purchase option, similar to what happened with Rashford.
In addition to Zirkzee, Juventus is closely monitoring the situation at Chelsea, where Liam Delap and Emmanuel Emegha may also be available for loan at the end of the transfer window. This diversified strategy demonstrates Juventus's intention to effectively and immediately strengthen their attack, increasing their options as they prepare for the challenges of the new season.
