However, Newcastle's stance is clear: Hall is not for sale, not even for a fee around £60 million. The Magpies have raised £260 million in this transfer window, with the sale of key players such as Anthony Gordon, Sandro Tonali, and Bruno Guimarães, and are now unwilling to part with other valuable assets. According to Samuel Luckhurst, a journalist for The Sun, Newcastle's determination has not dampened United's ambitions, which continues to view Hall as their main option, even after Arsenal's bid for Myles Lewis-Skelly.

Additionally, Hall has also expressed interest in leaving St. James' Park during this transfer window. Reports indicate that the player was “unhappy” and “uncertain” at the end of last season, and Luckhurst states that this situation persists, even with the departure of Eddie Howe and the appointment of Matthias Jaissle as the new head coach of the team. Despite the mutual desire between Manchester United and Hall, Newcastle holds the dominant position, as the player is under contract until June 2029.

Ideally, no club would want to keep a player who no longer wishes to represent their shirt. However, it seems that Hall's desire to leave is not strong enough to provoke a revolt or an outburst of discontent.
