January was filled with emotions in the Premier League, and the honors are shared among three stars who shone brightly. Fulham midfielder Harrison Reed won the Goal of the Month award for January with a spectacular long-range strike that sealed a 2-2 draw against Liverpool in the final minute of the match. This moment of genius not only saved the game for his teammates but also ensured that the award remained at Craven Cottage, where Harry Wilson had already been honored in December for his magnificent goal against Crystal Palace.

“No last minute, the adrenaline was through the roof. My only thought was to help the team, and when the ball went in, it was an indescribable moment,” Reed expressed, who has shown remarkable talent and unwavering determination this season.

On the other hand, Michael Carrick, who is enjoying a dream start as interim manager of Manchester United, has been awarded the Manager of the Month prize. Following the dismissal of Ruben Amorim, Carrick quickly made his mark with an impressive victory in the derby against Manchester City with a score of 2-0, followed by a monumental comeback to win against Arsenal away from home 3-2. “It is an honor to receive this recognition. The important thing is the hard work of the team and the results we are achieving,” Carrick stated, having surpassed other candidates such as Liam Rosenior and Andoni Iraola.

In front of the players, Igor Thiago, star of Brentford, stands out by being named Player of the Month in the Premier League for the second time in his career. The Brazilian not only shone on the pitch with an impressive collection of five goals in just two games, including a hat-trick against Everton and a brace against Sunderland, but also secured a new five-and-a-half-year contract with the Bees. “I am extremely happy to continue here and to have been recognized again. It is a reward for the collective effort,” said Thiago, who became the first Brazilian to win this award more than once, surpassing names like David Luiz and Lucas Moura.

With these achievements, the three athletes not only add glory to their careers but also raise the bar in the Premier League. Do you agree with the selections? What else does this season have in store for us? Stay tuned, as the show has only just begun!
