Ruben Amorim seems to have made a strong impression on AC Milan by guiding the team to a convincing 4-2 victory over Manchester United in their final preparation match before the start of Serie A. This encounter marked the coach's reunion with his former club, where Ardon Jashari, the Swiss midfielder, stood out for his performance, especially after a previous season filled with injuries and limited playing time.

Jashari was instrumental in organizing the game and the team's high pressing, following Amorim's instructions. While the spotlight was on the goals scored by Gonçalo Ramos and Chukwueze, the Swiss player's display received widespread praise. After the final whistle, Jashari expressed satisfaction with the result and the team's performance, stating: “I am happy with the victory and the team's display. I think we are on the right track and expressing ourselves well as a group.” However, he did not hesitate to point out the need for improvements, emphasizing that “we have to improve some details because the season will be long. In any case, we took a step forward in the way we want to play.”

The Swiss midfielder also commented on Amorim's new playing philosophy, which has already begun to be visible during the match. “We know how the coach wants to play, and although we can't implement everything overnight, we are working hard to make it happen. I think we need to improve some details, both with and without the ball. But we are on the right track,” he explained.

On a personal level, Jashari felt that his performance was a decisive step in showcasing his true value, something he had promised before. “I try to express myself in the best way and against Manchester United I had good feelings. If the team plays as it should, then I can show my qualities,” he stated, demonstrating confidence in reaching his best level in the upcoming season.

When asked about the possibility of forming a midfield partnership with Luka Modric, Jashari left the decision in the hands of the coach but did not hide his enthusiasm for the prospect. “That is a decision for the coach, but I think that, naturally, playing with Luka is fantastic. He is one of the best players in the world and sharing the pitch with him is incredible. We played together for 30 minutes against Inter and I think it showed that we can play alongside each other. We'll see what the coach decides, but I wouldn't say no to playing with Luka. On the contrary.”

With this victory and the visible evolution of the team, Amorim is solidifying his approach at Milan, promising a season that could be marked by great achievements, as long as the players continue to adapt to the new philosophy and improve continuously. The focus now will be on fine-tuning the team before the league starts.
