His finishing ability has been an extra asset for the Red Devils, but what truly impresses is his tireless commitment on the pitch. The Brazilian has done exemplary dirty work, holding the advantage against powerful opponents like Chelsea and resisting Brentford’s advances in an intense duel.
In the public voting, Casemiro garnered 44% of the votes, surpassing captain Bruno Fernandes, who received 38%. In third place was Kobbie Mainoo, a young player who has developed a remarkable chemistry with the veteran, with 19% of the votes.
In addition to the Player of the Month, Manchester United also announced the winner of the Goal of the Month award. Matheus Cunha took the prize with a magnificent goal against Chelsea, securing three points at Old Trafford.
